Location

Like the house, the chalets are located in St Sernin de Duras, less than 10km from Duras. Near the edge of the department, it is only a very short drive into both the Dordogne and the Gironde

The Chalets

The chalets are 45m² with a furnished, covered terrace. Both identical in layout, immediately inside the patio door is a sizable lounge/kitchen/dining area with a double bedroom and a single room with bunks leading directly off it. The chalets can both house 4 people comfortably.

The kitchen features a full cooker and a washing machine as well as the usual amenities. Linen and towels are provided.

The chalets are double-glazed and well insulated, making them comfortable in both the summer and winter months.

The Exterior

The properties are on half an acre of ground featuring fruit trees and playing areas.

Table tennis and darts can be enjoyed in the barn of the main house and there is also a weekly boule (know locally as 'petanque') competition in the village. A barbecue and parasol are included with the chalets.

Access

Bergerac Airport is the most local airport and has flights from Stansted, Southampton and Bristol. There are also flights from Gatwick, Norwich and Birmingham to Bordeaux. Car hire is available at the airports.

Crossing by ferry/Euro Tunnel can be done in a day: 400 miles from Caen and 600 miles from Calais.
